Abstract

In the present case, we report a case of diaphragm paralysis presented with peptic ulcer perforation. A 32-yearold male patient admitted to the emergency service with complaints of dyspnea and şatulence in stomach. Even though it is not difficult to diagnose the peptic ulcer perforation, the diagnosis process was delayed because of the challenges in abdominal examination and chest X-ray secondary to the diaphragm paralysis. It should be considered that the chronicle problems complicating the patient evaluation may cause difficulties in determining the acute pathology.
