Abstract

Low back pain is one of the most common complaints presented to the emergency department. The emergency physicians may sometimes assume these complaints as nonspecific in young patients. We report a case of transverse myelitis presented to the ED with low back pain and parasthesia. All patients admitted to the ED should be evaluated systematically regardless of their age and symptoms even they are young.
